I would love to have this as my bath mat. The stone rug made of flat river pebbles, this thing may weigh more than two kilos. The cost about 60$… If you’re a do-it-yourselfer you can just collect the stones yourself, buy an adhesive and a rubber mat and have the stones adhere to the mat

The crevices in-between however is good ground for dirt and debris to collect. I’d suggest cleaning the mat at least twice a week.

I came across this very unique design of a bookshelf by Italian designer Matteo Casarosa on his site. It looks like somewhat of a cross between a tree and a moose’s antlers. Whichever is it, the design is quite an eye catcher. The shelf looks like it will be supported on its base or probably at the back to prevent it from tipping over to its sides.

Now here’s a design concept that is quite intriguing - It is called the CookLounge. Designed by Michael Schmidt, this kitchen counter has all three builtin functions - a kitchen sink, a stove or oven, and a preparation area - and that’s just the kitchen! What makes this idea unique is that when not in use it can transform into a piece of modern furniture suitable for the living room, or wherever you’d like to place and showoff the furniture in.
Call it versatility. Call it the cooklounge. It just made me wonder how will tap water work (is it portable?), or how to avoid the smell of food or oil sticking into your lovely furniture or even fire!
